If you do not want to connect a bank account automatically, or if an account is not supported, you can add it manually in Stowe. Manual accounts let you track balances and import transactions using a CSV file.
Add a manual account
Go to the Dash tab.
Tap the connected banks icon in the top right.
Tap Add bank.
Choose Manual instead of automatic connection.
Find the bank or institution you want to add manually.
Choose the account type.
Add a name for the account.
Set the currency.
Enter the current balance.
Save the account.

You may be able to manually add checking accounts, savings accounts, credit cards, lines of credit, and loans.
Import transactions with a CSV file
1. Go to your connected banks area.
2. Tap the manual account you created.
3. Choose the option to import data.
4. Select a CSV file from your iPhone.
5. Follow the prompts to complete the import.
The CSV file must be saved on your iPhone before you import it.
When to use manual accounts
Manual accounts can be useful if you do not want to connect an account through Plaid, your financial institution is not supported, you want to track an account manually, or you want to include a loan, line of credit, or other account in your Stowe picture.
Manual accounts and automatic updates
Manual accounts do not update automatically in the same way connected accounts do. To keep a manual account up to date, you will need to import new transactions over time.
