Stowe uses Plaid to securely connect to your financial accounts. Connecting your accounts helps Stowe understand your spending, bills, subscriptions, income, and household finances automatically.
Connect an account
Tap Connect account.
Choose your financial institution.
Follow the secure Plaid connection steps.
Select the accounts you want to connect to Stowe.
Confirm the connection.
You can connect bank accounts, credit cards, investment accounts, and other supported financial accounts.
Is Plaid safe?
Plaid is a secure technology platform that helps apps like Stowe connect to financial institutions. Instead of sharing your banking login directly with Stowe, Plaid creates a secure connection between your financial institution and Stowe. Plaid is used by many financial apps and uses secure authentication and encryption methods.
Stowe does not see or store your online banking password.
Add another account later
Go to the Dash tab.
Tap the connected banks icon in the top right.
Tap Add bank.
Choose the account you want to connect.
Remove a connected account
Go to the Dash tab.
Tap the connected banks icon in the top right.
Choose the account you want to manage.
Follow the prompts to remove or update the account.
Keep an account private or shared
When you click into an account, you can adjust its privacy setting. Private means only you can see that account and its transactions. Shared means the account and its transactions are visible to your household.
